Shelburn network

Brittany during WW2


On the night of January 28-29, the Shelburne escape network succeeded, from Cochat Cove (known as “Bonaparte Beach”), between Paimpol and Saint-Brieuc, the first departure of 16 British aviators, recovered by speedboats Royal Navy rapids. Until August 9, nine times, nearly 150 people will escape to England.
